Injured whilst travelling on an airplane?
Did you know that if you have been injured whilst travelling on an airplane, you are entitled as a resident in Ireland, to take a case in Ireland under the Montreal Convention 1999, even if the injury occurred elsewhere in terms of location and even if it was caused whilst you were embarking or disembarking the airplane abroad.
Furthermore unlike other personal injury claims, you may only need to establish that you were injured and may not need to establish negligence on behalf of the airline depending on the value of the claim.
Please see our article below which sets out airline travel personal injury claims in detail written by an expert solicitors from our personal injury law firm in Dublin.
